Annual Summerville Tree Lighting Ceremony

This celebration includes pictures with Santa, the countdown and lighting ceremony, letters to Santa, live window displays, and more holiday fun! Fun for the entire family!
Sip 'n' Build Gingerbread Workshop!

Oak Road Brewery, 108 East 3rd North St, Summerville
Oak Road Brewery is partnering with Sweets on the House to offer a Sip 'n' Build Gingerbread Workshop. You'll get to build and decorate a gingerbread house while sipping on some delicious brew. Ticket includes 1 house, 1 brew of choice, expert instruction on how to build it nice 'n' sturdy, over 20 candy/decorating options, and a take-home bag if you want to continue the fun at home after the workshop is over! Tickets are $45.
Wood's Ace Hardware & Mercantile Holiday Market

Santa will be there for FREE pictures from 12pm-4pm. Let the kids write a letter to Santa too! Their nursery will be transformed into a vendor market with food, gifts, & more from local artisans. They will have holiday entertainment, lawn games, free popcorn, crafts, and music! Can't wait to see you there!

5th Annual Ugly Sweater Dash

St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Ave, Summerville
Calling all RUNNERS! Join the 5th Annual Ugly Sweater Dash presented by Summerville Elks Lodge, 2719. This race includes a 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run – both races begin and end at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. The 5K begins at 8:45 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run kicks off at 9:45 a.m.
Now - December 1 registration is $35 for 5K (includes custom embroidered beanie) and $10 for the 1-mile stroll or $30 for a family of four.
Proceeds from this premier fundraiser support the many programs of The ARK of SC as it provides essential services for families living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.
Visit Santa at Magnolia Plantation

Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is hosting an event to write letters to Santa. There will be photo opportunities with St. Nick himself! This event is complimentary with general admission tickets and includes a hot chocolate bar.
5th Annual PJs with Santa

Santa and his Elves are taking a break from the North Pole and heading to Hutchinson Square! Wear your most festive pajamas and join in for a night of family-friendly activities featuring a meet and greet with Santa, holiday crafts, face painting, and Christmas stories with Mrs. Claus! Hot cocoa and baked goods will be available for purchase. (Cash only)
Tickets at the event for $5 - a wristband will be provided. All proceeds benefit the Dorchester District 2 and Four School Supply Fund.
Bethany UMC Living Christmas Story

Paint & Wine with Goats class and BYOB

225 Stallsville Loop, Summerville
Flowertown Charm Farm’s goats are curious and very cuddly, so they are the perfect assistants to make you smile and inspire your inner Vincent Van-Goat! The class will take place outdoors in the grassy backyard of our 1870's farmhouse Bed & Breakfast overlooking the urban farm & animals. The goats and our other animals will roam freely and come visit you while painting. The tables will be set up with a paint stand, canvas, and supplies, along with a complementary take home farm inspired wine glass. You just need to bring the beverage of your choosing!
Summerville Christmas Parade

Summerville Christmas Parade theme is "Happy Birthday Summerville" The parade is a family friendly event that brings the community together to celebrate the season while representing the local traditions and Summerville hospitality.
PWAC & Summerville Orchestra Stroll #2: Strings for the Season

PWAC, 135 W Richardson Ave, Summerville
The Public Works Art Center is partnering with The Summerville Orchestra for another event! A selection of holiday works by American composers will be paired with the work of artist Kent Ambler, the featured PWAC artist on exhibition. Stroll through the three gallery spaces in this "arts-mersive" experience. There will be a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase for $5 (ID required.)
